{"id":2852,"date":"2019-11-07T19:25:53","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T17:25:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/syriansforheritage.org\/?p=2852"},"modified":"2019-11-07T19:26:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-07T17:26:32","slug":"with-heritage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/syriansforheritage.org\/?p=2852","title":{"rendered":"With Heritage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8216;Within the event \u201cWith Heritage\u201d that has been launched by SIMAT in cooperation with the Idlib Antiquities Center, we organized a visit for the children to the archaeological sites of the upper mountain in Idlib province. The participants included members from both the local community and the internally displaced community, together they visited the sites of Qaraqbizeh and Qalb Lozeh. The team held educational and entertaining activities for the children on sites, and eventually, the children wrote letters on balloons to their ancestors and let them go in the space.<\/p>\n<p>\u200f A group of women took part in this initiative too. After they visited the sites and learned about them, they sat by an olive press and exchanged their experience and inherited traditions of olive picking and all related processes. These conversations were documented in order to preserve these traditions and add them to our intangible heritage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
